1st December 2009

Recently, there have been cases of car vandalism in our neighbourhood alone. Just for the past two weeks alone, there are 9 cases of car vandalism. Many of the victims of car vandalism felt more could be done to prevent this from happening.

Said Mr Tan, "I just bought my car two months ago and this had to happen."

Another victim commented, "I think the police should step on their patrol. It had somehow gone overboard."

According to investigations, most of the cars being vandalised are new cars. This may be the reason why the culprit chose these cars. Police had said that they would step up patrol in the area and a committee consisting of residents might be set up to assist the police in nabbing the culprit as soon as possible.
